NC BOARD OF PHARMACY CONDUCTING A MOCK ELECTION – PLEASE VOTE NOW!

North Carolina pharmacists are reminded that the next Board of Pharmacy elections are scheduled to begin November 1, 2019. Two district seats will be up for election this year – the Central and Northeastern Districts. More details on this election may be found here.

To familiarize pharmacists with the portal-based voting system, Board staff has developed a mock election which begins August 1, and runs through August 31. NC Board of Pharmacy staff and a couple of Board members volunteered their pets as “candidates” and we hope this will be a fun way to get pharmacists ready for voting in the actual election on November 1.

Simply log in to the Licensure Gateway (https://portal.ncbop.org/) and then click on the MOCK ELECTIONS tile to cast your vote. There you will find pet photos and bios and you will vote for one pet from District A and one from District B.

Please note that if you have not already set up your three security questions in the Gateway, you will be prompted to do so before you can access your profile page. You will only need to do this once.

Please contact Board staff anytime with questions. Thank you for participating! And please mark your calendars for November 1 to vote in the actual election for the Central and Northeastern District seats.

Questions, please contact Kristin Moore or Jay Campbell.
