Stan Haywood graduated from the UNC School of Pharmacy in 1968. He is the owner and chief pharmacist of Prevo Drugs, Inc. in Asheboro. Stan is a certified compounding pharmacist and a certified diabetic educator with the Greensboro AHEC.
He has been a member of NC Mutual Drug Company since 1972 and has served on both the Mutual Drug Legislative Affairs Committee and the Mutual Drug Retail Advisory Committee. Stan is a member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, the North Carolina Association of Pharmacists, and the Asheboro City Board of Education. He is active in Boy Scouts of America and has served as Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 527 since 1989. Stan lives in Asheboro with his wife Hope and sons Drew, Jon and Mark.
