A: Plan B ® may be sold by pharmacists to any person (male or female) age 17 or over without a prescription. Plan B ® must be stored behind the counter, and the pharmacist must obtain suitable proof of age prior to dispensing to a patient without a prescription. Sales to persons age 16 or younger require a valid prescription.
